Sending all our love to Ryan and missing him always. I remember a lot of sword games and bbqs in the park for Ryan’s birthdays. So many wonderful times with the Houghtons, I will never forget.

Missing the family and realizing that the years are flying by without much contribution here from me. Ryan at 14…I think he’d still be the precocious, fun loving young man that he was. I still think about the bouquet of weeds he gave to me the same day Luke gave DeDe a beautiful bouquet of roses. Loved his practical jokery. Always grateful for all of the special times, those times that now bring a smile to the moment, not tears. Thinking of you Ryan…

Thank you John for your Birthday post for Ryan! It is so hard to imagine who our Ryan would be at 14! I know he would be taller, his voice might be changing and his interest would be so varied! He might be planning on a dive somewhere with the family or they might be on a wonderful trip, but they might have been having a celebration in their wonderful home on Evergreen! What size and style of clothes, so many things would be different I know, but he would still be our Happy, Smiling and Fun Loving young man for sure! I wonder if he is having Cake and would it be Angel Food or chocolate? Maybe a pie, whatever he is surrounded by so many that Love him and are celebrating Heavenly style! I have been looking at pictures and humming the song “I may just be a Star 91 million miles from where you are”, I can’t look to the heavens and at the stars and feel their loving presence! Happy 14th Birthday Ryan David Houghton, I love you to the Moon and Back and beyond! Please share a Big Family Hug and know I am with you all and miss you so very much!????????????????????????????
